The Wood
The Wood is an amazing drop-in for everyone aged year 8 and up, running from 8pm - 9:30pm every Friday night @ the Church.
A typical night begins with registration, a warm welcome and then… let the madness commence! In the main hall you can enjoy uni-hoc, football, table football, pool and much more! If that's not your scene you can go get some refreshments at the tuck shop and head down to the 'chill out zone' where you can stretch your vocal chords by singing with Singstar or you can play some Wii Games, board games, Uno or whatever! For you girls out there who like a more feminine touch, we are continuing to develop our female activities so you could learn to dance, you could be painting nails or you could do other mad stuff!
At 9pm we have a short talk and then again from 9:15 - 9:30 the rest of the programme commences!
If you're in year 8 or older, come on down to The Wood and we look forward to welcoming you and seeing you here. We have a great team of friendly leaders who'll often be seen wearing red hoodies and they'll come alongside you and make you feel right at home!
